You will be part of the Portfolio and Development department within IT. You will be responsible for a specific domain within our eco system and work in a truly agile manner together with business, business analyst and the quality team. The role will ensure all architectural guidance and directions for the defined domain. You possess strong technical and communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics to business stakeholders as well as translate business topics in to technical designs. The position will report to the Manager for the Domain Architectural team and will be based in Malmö.

We are looking for a Domain Architect with good Banking industry knowledge, which has a strong understanding of solutions innovation. The ideal candidate has several years of experience working as a Solution Architect, technical pre-sales, or a similar role. You have an ability to dive deep into various hands-on solutions while developing new skills, and make strong contributions in architectural discussions. 

As our Domain Architect your main responsibility will be

• Working together with the business and early identify needs and strategies to find the best suitable solutions and technologies
• Contributing to the roadmap work together with business and delivery responsible
• Set direction for development by establish and communicate architecture assets
• Be a leader within the Domain you are responsible for
• Contribute to strategies, goals and vision for the Domain
• Positioning of all initiatives and significant changes
• Identification of strategic enablers
• Set high level designs ensure they are well documented and communicated
• Ensure that the architecture for new initiatives are aligned with the Enterprise Architectural roadmap and overall Ikano guidelines and target architecture
• Architecture reviews and approval of key design documents

Are you the one for Ikano?

• Do you have at least five years of successful professional experience in Architecture?
• Are you used to work with the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF)?
• Do you have knowledge in SOA architecture or, more preferably, MicroServices Architecture (MSA)?
• Do you have experience in Core Banking platform (e.g. Cards and Loans) and Origination systems?
• Are you experienced in Agile Software Development?
• Experience in DevOps
• Cloud experience is an added advantage
• Hands-on ability to develop proof of concept and technology
• Are you rigorous, organized and structured?
• Do you have experience of working with third parties and off shore development?
• Do you like working in a multi-national/multi-cultural work environment?
• Do you have excellent communication and presentation skills?
• You are mobile and prepared to travel if needed!
• Fluent both in English and a Nordic language – spoken and written!
• Ability to work in a team and within Ikano’s values
