Senior Accounting Specialist

 

We are looking for an enthusiastic Senior Accounting Specialist to monitor, analyse and secure changes in new and changed Accounting rules, according to IFRS and local GAAP relevant for Ikano Bank. In addition, you will support other functions and markets with Accounting related questions as well as being the coordinator for external and internal auditors.

We create solutions that simplify finance

You will be part of the Common Accounting function, which is responsible for the accounting related processes, systems and compliance with Accounting rules and requirements. You will be reporting to the Head of Accounting and support your fellow co-workers within the bank. Your main areas of responsibility include: 

  • Monitor, analyse and secure implementation of new and changed IFRS and relevant local GAAP
  • Act as support for other departments with accounting issues
  • Participate in and conduct internal training in Accounting matters
  • Keeping Accounting Guidelines and Instructions up to date
  • Participate in projects related to Accounting and Reporting topics
  • Responsible for the coordination of internal and external audits
  • Support valuation of financial and intangible assets
  • Streamline the treatment of Accounting transactions throughout the bank

Are you the one for Ikano?

We believe that you have a University degree in Business Administration or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. You have experience working in banking or the financial market and sound knowledge of Local GAAP and IFRS. Ideally you have worked for an external audit company. Knowledge of systems such as Navision and QlikView is an advantage.

As a person you are analytical, a quick learner and well structured. You focus on accuracy while enjoying communicating with different stakeholders. You are a motivated and engaged self-starter who enjoys working towards continuous improvements. You stay curious and are a good partner for your fellow colleagues. You are fluent in Swedish and English
