As the IT Security Incident Response Manager you are part of a team of five IT security professionals whose objective is to prevent, detect and respond to cyber threats and risks as well as assure the bank stays compliant in the IT domain. The team works in close collaboration with other functions within the bank, like the Fraud department, IT Service Management and the CISO, but also with our third-party providers of IT operations and IT development. The team is geographically located in Malmö, Sweden.
We create solutions that simplify finance
The IT Security team, since IT is outsourced, is primarily a governing and reporting function. That means it is responsible to adopt the bank's policies, regulator's requirements and the current threat landscape to requirements on the IT operations and development of the bank. An important part of this is to analyse its current security posture and report status to various stakeholders.
Another important role of the team is to be subject matter experts (SME) in product development and in IT projects, but also to support its current operations and products.
During cyber-attacks and security incidents the team have a leading role, to assure the banks response is efficient and effective, together with its 3rd part security providers.

While the IT Security's team members are accountable for different areas within the security domain, it usually works in close collaboration with its other members. The IT Security Incident Response Manager's main focus is to assure an efficient and effective management of threats to the bank's IT systems and assets. This include the Security Incident Response process, the various tools used, and the resources involved in the response. While minor incidents require less direct involvement major incidents will need the full attention of the IT Security team and the SIR Manager. Other parts of the position is to assure the SOCs and the SIEM solution's capabilities according to SLA’s and reporting to stakeholders on the bank's IT Security posture.
